Coast Guard repatriates 27 Dominicans to the Dominican Republic
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — The Coast Guard Cutter Richard Dixon repatriated 27 Dominican nationals to a Dominican Republic Navy vessel Wednesday, following the interdiction of an illegal voyage vessel in waters north of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The interdiction is the result of ongoing local and federal multi-agency efforts of the Caribbean Border Interagency Group CBIG.

Coast Guard suspends search for overdue fisherman in the Mona Passage
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — The Coast Guard search for an overdue fisherman was suspended pending further developments Wednesday, following a five-day search and rescue operation in the Mona Passage. Still missing is Wilson Negrón, who is the remaining of two fishermen reported overdue in this case. A Coast Guard MH-60T Jayhawk aircrew rescued Luis Eliel Guerra Monday, after he was found by a Good Samaritan stranded on ‘Pajaros Beach’ on Mona Island, Puerto Rico.
