Coast Guard members rescue man from car accident in Seattle

During their lunch break, three Coast Guardsmen in Seattle rescued an individual involved in a car collision that resulted in his car being turned over to its side. They utilized their training and expertise to assist the individual and mitigate any further risks before emergency services arrived.

WHO: Coast Guard Station Mayport, Nassau County Sherriff’s Department, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Department, St. John’s Country Sheriff’s Department, St. Augustine Fire Department, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and U.S. Space Force crews. WHAT: The Coast Guard and partner agencies will conduct training in accordance with the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) Boat Operator for Search and Rescue (BOSAR) training course.
