JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Coast Guard suspended the search, Wednesday, for a missing 35-year-old man who went overboard from a cruise ship 186 miles east of Jacksonville, Florida.

U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stratton visits Singapore during Indo-Pacific deployment

SINGAPORE – U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stratton (WMSL 752) departed Singapore, May 22, following a scheduled port visit while deployed to the Indo-Pacific. While in Singapore, Stratton’s commanding officer and crew strengthened trusted partnerships with local leaders, maritime safety and security stakeholders, and the community.

BOSTON — The Coast Guard Cutter Maurice Jester (WPC-1152) is scheduled to be commissioned during a ceremony at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island, June 2. Coast Guard suspended its search at sunset Monday for four missing individuals in the water near Sitka, Alaska. 

The Coast Guard recovered one deceased individual Sunday evening and located the vessel partially submerged off Low Island approximately 10 miles west of Sitka.
