U.S. Coast Guard sails to outer islands of Federated States of Micronesia with needed equipment and supplies

This vital training involved collaboration with the U.S. Army Scouts from the 3rd Squadron, 4th U.S. Cavalry Raiders of the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT), 25th Infantry Division, and the U.S. Navy Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 - the "Island Knights," based at Andersen Air Force Base.

Update: Missing sailing vessel Malulani arrives in Hawaii

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The missing individual, 60-year-old Noel Rubio, arrived safely in Hawaii with his sailing boat “Malulani” on Saturday.

U.S. Coast Guard strengthens ties with the Marshall Islands Sea Patrol, Australian Pacific Maritime Security Program in Majuro

This visit marks a continuation of efforts to enhance the U.S. Coast Guard's positive relationship with the Marshall Islands, particularly its maritime law enforcement entity, the RMI Sea Patrol. This trip highlights the enduring partnership between the U.S. Coast Guard, its Pacific Island partners under the Compact of Free Association (COFA), and the resident U.S. State Department team.

ALAMEDA, Calif. – The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking the assistance of the maritime community in the search for 60-year-old Noel Rubio and the sailing boat “Malulani.”

Coast Guard Cutters Vigilant and Richard Dixon crews rescued two boaters from the disabled sailing vessel Orion, Feb. 1, 2024, approximately 147 nautical miles south of Puerto Rico. Rescued are French citizens Robert Punginier, 77, and Marie Claude Durand, 50, who were safely transported to the French island of Martinique, where they were assisted by local authorities. Coast Guard rescues 2 French boaters from disabled sailing vessel, approximately 147 miles south of Puerto Rico

Coast Guard Cutters Vigilant and Richard Dixon crews rescued two boaters from a disabled sailing vessel, Thursday, in the Caribbean Sea, approximately 147 nautical miles south of Puerto Rico. Rescued are French citizens Robert Punginier, 77, and Marie Claude Durand, 50, who reportedly were disabled and adrift for over seven days.
