Coast Guard Cutter Eagle to visit Portsmouth, New Hampshire and participate in Sail Portsmouth 2024 parade of sail
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Coast Guard Cutter Eagle (WIX 327) will be making a port-of-call in Portsmouth from Friday, July 26 until Sunday, July 28. Eagle is scheduled to take part in the Sail Portsmouth 2024 tall ships festival and will participate in a parade of sail on Friday, July 26 at 10:30 a.m. The crew is scheduled to moor later that morning around 11:30 a.m. at the New Hampshire Port Authority Pier, 555 Market Street, in Portsmouth. Free public tours are scheduled for the following dates and times: • Friday, July 26 (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) • Saturday, July 27 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) • Sunday, July 28 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

Coast Guard Cutter Stone returns home after 63-day patrol in the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — The crew of Coast Guard Cutter Stone (WMSL 758) returned to their home port in Charleston, Wednesday, following a 63-day patrol in the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea in support of homeland defense and counterdrug operations. Supporting the Tri-Party partnership, Stone served as on-scene commander, leading U.S. Navy and Royal Canadian navy assets in a dynamic mission to preserve the sovereignty of U.S. waters and counter the actions of foreign actors and transnational criminal organizations.
Coast Guard Cutter James returns home following South Atlantic Ocean deployment to counter illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter James (WMSL 754) returned to their home port in North Charleston, July 11, after completing a 98-day patrol in the South Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. James’ crew patrolled in support of Operation Southern Cross, promoting maritime governance with partners in the South Atlantic by working to illuminate and monitor illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing (IUU-F) activity in the region.
U.S. Coast Guard completes successful rescue, tow of motor yacht Black Pearl 1 to the Republic of Palau
KOROR, Palau — In a demonstration of sound seamanship and dedication, the crew of the USCGC Oliver Henry (WPC 1140) completed the rescue operation of the motor yacht Black Pearl 1 and the 11 crew aboard, ensuring its safe arrival and mooring in the Republic of Palau on July 22, 2024. "Wrapping up this tow and seeing the Black Pearl safely handed off in Palau was incredible, especially considering the size of that yacht. I'm proud of how the crew handled everything. They're creative problem solvers, come up with quick solutions on the fly, and they manage risks like pros. It's rewarding to see everyone work together seamlessly, ensuring we live up to our role as America's maritime first responder and a trusted partner in Oceania. It's moments like this that highlight the strength and dedication of the Oliver Henry crew," said Lt. Ray Cerrato, the USCGC Oliver Henry commanding officer.
