MEDIA ADVISORY: Coast Guard, partner agencies to hold safe boating press briefing ahead of Memorial Day weekend
MIAMI — The Coast Guard alongside Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, representatives from Biscayne National Park, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office and Fire Rescue, and City of Miami Police and Fire Rescue are scheduled to host a press briefing, Thursday, to emphasize and promote the importance of safe boating practices ahead of Memorial Day weekend at the Crandon Park Marina boat ramp in Key Biscayne.

U.S. Coast Guard Barque Eagle to visit Los Angeles during Fleet Week
U.S. Coast Guard Barque Eagle (WIX 327) will participate in Los Angeles Fleet Week festivities during Memorial Day weekend, May 23 - 26. Eagle will be moored at Berth 50/51 in San Pedro’s Outer Harbor, where it will offer free public tours during the following dates and times: • Friday, May 23 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) • Saturday, May 24 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) • Sunday, May 25 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) Visitors will need to join a digital queue and be assigned a time to get in line before their visit.
