U.S. Coast Guard Releases Report of Investigation on Cargo Vessel GRANDE COSTA D’AVORIO

The Coast Guard’s Office of Investigations and Casualty Analysis (CG-INV) recently posted a Report of Investigation (ROI) to the Marine Casualty Reports (uscg.mil) website regarding the fire and subsequent land-based firefighter fatalities onboard the roll-on/roll-off cargo vessel GRANDE COSTA D’AVORIO (IMO# 9465382) while conducting cargo operations at Berth 18, Port Newark, New Jersey on July 5, 2023.
