NEW YORK — While Hurricane Erin is currently forecasted to track well off the coasts of New York and New Jersey, the Coast Guard is urging mariners operating offshore and beachgoers to exercise caution as the storm passes. Coast Guard interdicts 7 aliens off Newport Beach, Calif.

LOS ANGELES — The Coast Guard interdicts seven aliens aboard a 20-foot vessel off the coast of Newport Beach, Calif., Saturday night. At approximately 9 p.m., watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles–Long Beach received a report from a Station Los Angeles Long Beach boat crew on a routine patrol of a 20-foot vessel with seven people aboard. The Coast Guard boat crew stopped the vessel to conduct a boarding.
