U.S. Coast Guard releases additional policy and guidance in support of 33 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 101, Subpart F – Cybersecurity.

The Coast Guard Office of Maritime Cybersecurity Policy (CG-MCP) has released additional policy and guidance documents to support compliance with new Cybersecurity in the Marine Transportation System regulations found in 33 CFR Part 101, Subpart F. These include CG-5PC Policy Letter 01-26, Cybersecurity Assessment Initial Scoping and Process; CG-MCP Work Instruction 002, Waiver and Equivalency Guidance for Requirements of 33 CFR Part 101, Subpart F – Cybersecurity; and, CG-MCP Work Instruction 003, DoD SAFE Instructions for Cybersecurity Plan, Cybersecurity Assessment, Waiver & Equivalency Request Submissions.
