Coast Guard seeking information regarding possible establishment of Shipping Safety Fairways in the Gulf of Maine

The Coast Guard published an advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPRM) on November 19, 2024, to seek public input on the potential establishment of shipping safety fairways (‘‘fairways’’) in the Gulf of Maine. If you would be impacted by the establishment of such fairways, we encourage you to read the ANPRM and provide feedback on regulations.gov no later than January 21, 2025.

Great Lakes Pilotage Advisory Committee; Vacancies

The Great Lakes Pilotage Advisory Committee provides advice and makes recommendations to the Secretary of Homeland Security via the Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard on matters relating to Great Lakes pilotage, including review of proposed Great Lakes pilotage regulation.
