Dissolution of the Ship Structure Committee

Nov. 18, 2025

On July 15, 2025, the decision was made in a Special Session meeting that the Ship Structure Committee (SSC) would be dissolved.

As part of this transition, the SSC email address (ssc@uscg.mil) has been deactivated and the SSC website (https://shipstructure.org) will no longer be available as of January 1, 2026. Moving forward, the SSC library can be accessed at no charge at https://onepetro.org/SSCReports.

The numerous contributions made by the SSC will have a lasting impact. Thank you to all who have supported the SSC over the past 79 years!
