National Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee Meeting

March 13, 2024

The Office of Merchant Mariner Credentialing is hosting the seventh meeting of the National Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee (NMERPAC) March 26-27, 2024, in Edmonds, Washington, at Compass Courses. Pre-registration is not required for this meeting.

Work groups for subcommittees listed in the Federal Register notice will meet on March 26, 2024. The committee will meet on March 27, 2024, to consider and vote on recommendations from the subcommittees that have met since the last NMERPAC meeting.

NMERPAC advises, consults with, and makes recommendations to the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security through the Commandant of the United States Coast Guard on matters relating to personnel in the United States Merchant Marine including the training, qualifications, certification, documentation, and fitness of mariners.
