Federal Register: Request for information on the Coast Guard Implementation of a Western Alaska Oil Spill Planning Criteria Program

Dec. 5, 2023

The Coast Guard’s Office of Marine Environmental Response Policy (CG-MER) is seeking input from the public on the Coast Guard Implementation of a Western Alaska Oil Spill Planning Criteria Program.  Input will assist in potentially developing a regulatory proposal to support the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2022 requiring planning criteria for vessel response plans distinct to Western Alaska and Prince William Sound Captain of the Port Zones in the Federal Register (Docket No. USCG-2023-0824). The Coast Guard needs your input!  Submit comments before the docket closes March 4, 2024.
