National Merchant Mariner Medical Advisory Committee Meeting #4

The Office of Merchant Mariner Credentialing is holding the 4th meeting of the National Merchant Mariner Medical Advisory Committee (NMEDMAC) on April 25 – 26, 2023 at the Paul Hall Center for Maritime Training and Education, 17220 Piney Point Rd., Piney Point, MD, 20674.

NMEDMAC acts in an advisory capacity to the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security on matters relating to medical certification determinations for issuance of licenses, certificates of registry, and merchant mariners' documents; medical standards and guidelines for the physical qualifications of operators of commercial vessels; medical examiner education; and medical research.

Please note the following:

This is an in-person meeting. There is no option for virtual meeting attendance.

Pre-registration is required for this event. If you plan to attend, please submit your full name to Pamela.J.Moore@uscg.mil by 4 pm EDT on April 21, 2023 to be added to the list of meeting registrants. Please note that you must provide your legal name as it appears on the photo ID you will present on the day you arrive.
