At approximately 3 p.m., watch standers at the Joint Harbor Operations Center detected a 30-foot cabin cruiser transiting into U.S. territorial waters. A Coast Guard Station San Diego 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boarding team was launched to intercept. The boarding team conducted the interdiction with no use of force and identified two suspected aliens aboard the vessel. Both suspected aliens claimed Mexican nationality and were transferred to U.S. Border Patrol custody.
