Media Advisory: U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle to host media tour in Portland

                                                                                                

PORTLAND, Ore. — The U.S. Coast Guard invites local media to tour the Coast Guard Cutter Eagle, known as “America’s Tall Ship,” on Thursday, June 5, from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. This media availability offers an opportunity to explore the historic vessel and engage with its crew.

Event Details:

  • What: Media tour of USCGC Eagle
  • When: Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
  • Where: South of Burnside Bridge (Near SW Ash Street and SW Naito Pkwy -between bollards 18-20)
  • Who: Capt. Jessica Rozzi-Ochs and crew

Opportunities Include:

  • Interviewing the Eagle’s commanding officer, Capt. Jessica Rozzi-Ochs
  • Speaking with a Portland-raised cadet
  • Engaging with crew members
  • Touring the deck and learning about the ship’s operations
