MEDIA ADVISORY: Coast Guard to host free, public tours of Cutters

  

SEATTLE — The Coast Guard is scheduled to host free, open-to-the-public tours of two Coast Guard Cutters at Pier 46.

During the event, Coast Guard Cutter Henry Blake and Cutter Robert Ward, will be open to the public for tours during Seattle's Seafair Festival.

Media members are invited to capture video of the event and talk to members of the Coast Guard about their involvement in Seafair.

Coast Guard Cutter Henry Blake is a 175-foot buoy tender based in Everett, Washington. Coast Guard Cutter Robert Ward, is a 154-foot Fast Response Cutter based in San Pedro, California, and is one of the newest vessels in Coast Guard's fleet.
