SAN DIEGO – A Coast Guard Cutter Narwhal (WPB 87335) boarding team interdicted eight suspected aliens approximately 16 miles west of San Diego, Sunday morning.
At 10:42 a.m., Joint Harbor Operations Center watch standers received a report from a good Samaritan regarding a potentially disabled vessel.
Narwhal crew members arrived on scene and detained the eight suspected aliens aboard before transferring them to a Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations boat crew.
