HONOLULU — The U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port (COTP) Honolulu has rescheduled the increase of port heavy weather conditions for commercial ports in Honolulu County from 2 a.m. Aug. 15 to 12 p.m. Aug.15, due to Tropical Storm Lala.
The current port heavy weather conditions are in effect as follows:
• Hawaii County: Zulu
• Maui County: Zulu
• Honolulu County: Yankee
• Kauai County: Yankee
The following change is scheduled to take place effective August 15, 2026 at 8 a.m. HST:
• Zulu for the commercial ports of Kauai County
The following change is scheduled to take place effective August 15, 2026 at 12 p.m. HST:
• Zulu for the commercial ports of Honolulu County
