SAN DIEGO – The crew of Coast Guard cutter Terrell Horne (WPC 1131) interdicted nine suspected aliens aboard a panga-style vessel approximately 7 miles west of San Diego, Wednesday.
At 2:16 a.m., the Terrell Horne crew detected the vessel and launched a boarding team to investigate. During the boarding, the crew identified and detained nine suspected aliens.
The crew transported all nine individuals to Ballast Point, where they were transferred to U.S. Border Patrol agents.
