When: July 23, 2026 at 11 a.m.
Why: Platt, a Boston native, will relinquish command to Lake.
The Northeast District includes Coast Guard members in eight states and over 2,000 miles of coastline. The area of responsibility stretches from the northeast U.S.-Canada border to Northern New Jersey.
