SAN FRANCISCO — Coast Guard crews and other local agencies are searching for a man who was reported overdue Tuesday evening near Pinole, California.
Missing is 70-year-old Tito Montances, who left his home in his truck with a canoe at approximately 1:00 p.m. yesterday. His vehicle was located at Bay Front Park, in Pinole.
At approximately 11:45 p.m., Coast Guard Sector San Francisco watchstanders received a missing-person report from the Hercules Police Department and coordinated the launch of multiple Coast Guard crews.
