What: Press briefing discussing Coast Guard safety and security operations supporting America 250, Fourth of July fireworks and FIFA World Cups events. Boat rides are available to a limited number of media members.

SAN FRANCISCO — Coast Guard Sector San Francisco is scheduled to hold a press event Thursday, to discuss the Coast Guard’s role in securing the maritime domain within the San Francisco Bay Area in preparation of America 250 leading up to the largest fireworks show in San Francisco’s history on July 4, 2026. Media will be required to show government-issued photo identification and media credentials.
