PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Coast Guard East District External Affairs Office has updated its contact information for the Portsmouth and Baltimore offices effective immediately.

Normal business hours for the external affairs office are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays.
For media inquiries and after-hours requests, contact EastDistrictPublicAffairs@uscg.mil.
Members of the media are encouraged to update their records to reflect these changes. These updates ensure continued support for media inquiries and timely dissemination of information throughout the East District.
The East District encompasses North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and portions of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, protecting 156,000 square miles of ocean, bays, rivers, wetlands and tidal marshes.
