SEATTLE - The U.S. Coast Guard has issued a Public Notice (PN-04-25) for the proposed replacement of the I-5 Portland to Vancouver Bridge, across the Columbia River, at river mile 106.5, between Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington.
This Public Notice is soliciting comments exclusively related to navigation regarding a proposed new replacement I-5 Portland to Vancouver Bridge, across the Columbia River.
Maritime transportation system stakeholders (maritime vessels, facilities, businesses, organizations) are highly encouraged to carefully review this notice and provide comments regarding the proposed bridge’s ability to meet the current and future needs of navigation.
The Coast Guard is particularly interested in receiving comments from maritime stakeholders with current and or future vertical navigation clearance requirements of greater than 116 feet above Columbia River Datum (air draft and safety air gap).
