Media Advisory: Coast Guard to hold change of command ceremony at Sector San Diego

SAN DIEGO — U.S. Coast Guard Sector San Diego is scheduled to hold a change of command ceremony in San Diego, Friday.

What: Coast Guard Sector San Diego Change of Command Ceremony

When: Friday, June 13 at 10:00 a.m.

Where:  Hangar 1, Coast Guard Sector San Diego, 2710 N Harbor Drive, 92101 San Diego, CA

Sector San Diego performs a multitude of missions ranging from Search and Rescue, Maritime Law Enforcement, Port Security, Waterways Management, Commercial and Recreational Vessel Safety and Marine Inspections. Sector is also home to the Joint Harbor Operations Center, which is jointly staffed by Coast Guard, Border Patrol, California National Guard’s Counter-Drug Program and San Diego Harbor Police.
