NEW ORLEANS — The Coast Guard and local partner agencies are searching for a 75-year-old man, Friday, after he reportedly fell off his vessel near Larose, Louisiana.
Sector New Orleans watchstanders received a report at approximately 9:30 a.m. from Lafourche Fire Department after a mariner observed a 14-foot skiff without anybody on board.
Watchstanders coordinated the launch of a Coast Guard Station Grand Isle 27-foot Utility Boat-Medium boat crew, and diverted an Air Station New Orleans MH-60 Jayhawk aircrew.
U.S. Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans aircrews, Station Grand Isle boat crews, Lafourche Parish Marine Division, Lafourche Fire Department, and Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries continue to search for the missing man.
