WHAT: Coast Guard holds open-house event including demonstrations and displays

CLEVELAND – Members of Station Fairport alongside the Auxiliary and community partners are scheduled to host an open-house event at Station Fairport, Saturday.
The event is free, open to the public and scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Members of the public are invited to learn about Coast Guard operations, safe boating tips, and see static displays and demonstrations. Visitors will be able to speak with Coast Guard members
and community partners to learn about safe boating practices.
Saturday marks the start of National Safe Boating Week for the 2023 boating season. National Safe Boating Week is an annual observance week coordinated by the National Safe Boating Council and boating safety partners across the United States and Canada to promote safe boating practices and how to better prepare for a day on the water.
