Coast Guard command centers in southern Washington, Oregon update telephone numbers


PORTLAND, Ore. — Coast Guard command centers in southern Washington and Oregon will be using updated telephone numbers as the new, consolidated command center in Portland is established.

Legacy telephone numbers used to reach Coast Guard command centers in North Bend and Astoria, Oregon, will begin forwarding calls to watchstanders in Portland beginning Monday, April 3, 2023. These legacy lines will continue to work for a three-month period.

After this three-month transitional period, the legacy telephone numbers will be replaced by the following numbers to reach the Portland-based command center, directly.

New telephone number for emergency response: 833-PDX-USCG
New telephone number for Sector Portland automated directory: 833-771-2565
