New London, CT - The U.S. Coast Guard Academy is proud to announce the upcoming Billet Night event for the Class of 2023. This highly anticipated event will take place on Thursday, March 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Leamy Hall Auditorium, at the Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT.
Billet Night is a pivotal moment for the senior cadets at the Academy as they receive their operational Coast Guard assignments and prepare to join the fleet upon graduation. During the event, each cadet will receive their billet, a specific job assignment within the Coast Guard's operational fleet. This is a highly anticipated event, as it marks the first step towards a fulfilling career of service to the country.
