Coast Guard interdicts 10 aliens near San Clemente Island
Six suspected aliens are pictured on the forepeak of a 26-foot Over the Horizon-IV Cutter Boat following a vessel boarding approximately 27 miles east of San Clemente Island, California, May 22, 2026. A Coast Guard boarding team assigned to the 87-foot Marine Protector-class U.S Coast Guard Cutter Haddock (WPB 87347) identified 10 suspected aliens during the boarding and transferred custody of all 10 to U.S. Border Patrol agents at Ballast Point.
