Unified Command Established in Response to Tug Sinking in Bremerton Marina
A member of the U.S. Coast Guard speaks with a member of the Washington Department of Ecology after a unified command was established between the entities on Sept. 19, 2025, in response to a tugboat sinking and causing pollution in the Bremerton Marina, near Bremerton, Washington. Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound received an initial pollution report from the National Response Center regarding the vessel Dominion, a 130-foot tugboat, sinking and leaking fuel and oil within the marina.
