USCG and USAID Signing Ceremony
Deputy Assistant to the Administrator for the Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance, Matt Nims (left), and Coast Guard Deputy Commandant for Operations, Adm. Peter Gautier (right), joined in a signing ceremony which affirms the U.S. Coast Guard partnership with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) . The new agreement outlines how the two agencies will coordinate response efforts when disasters occur on foreign soil.
