Coast Guard sets Port Condition X-RAY for seaports in the U.S. Virgin Islands, in Puerto Rico as Tropical Storm Tammy approaches
Coast Guard Captain of the Port San Juan set Port Condition X-RAY Thursday, for all seaports in the U.S. Virgins Islands and Puerto Rico due to Tropical Strom Tammy, and the possibility of sustained gale force winds of 25 mph and gusts up to 40 mph arriving within 48 hours. The Coast Guard strongly cautions the maritime community to remain vigilant and take the necessary precautions as Tropical Strom Tammy, located several hundred miles east of the Windward Islands, continues approaching the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico area.
