Coast Guard transfers custody of 3 suspected smugglers, offloads $19 million in illegal narcotics in San Juan, Puerto Rico
Coast Guard Station San Juan crewmembers transfer custody of three apprehended smugglers to federal law enforcement agents in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Aug. 31, 2023. The apprehension resulted from the interdiction of a drug smuggling go-fast vessel carried out by the Coast Guard Cutter Heriberto Hernandez in Caribbean Sea waters southeast of Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, Aug. 26, 2023.
