U.S. Coast Guard delivers first COVID vaccines to Haiti
With the help of the Air National Guard’s 164th Logistics Readiness Squadron, a U.S. Coast Guard HC-130 Hercules crew from Elizabeth City, N.C., loads the plane with 500,000 doses of the COVID vaccine in Memphis on July 14, 2021. This delivery was received by a U.S. embassy team in Haiti under the COVAX program on behalf of the U.S. Health and Human Services — a gift from the American people to the people of Haiti.
