U.S. Coast Guard assists NOAA and The Marine Mammal Center with Monk Seal Transport
Two Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point HC-130 Hercules crew members secure a Hawaiian Monk Seal for transport, Hawaii Island, Aug. 5, 2020. The Coast Guard 14th District partnered with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and The Marine Mammal Center to safely transport four Hawaiian Monk Seals to Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge for release.
