WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Coast Guard permanently relieved Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard Reserve Timothy Beard, Monday.
Beard served as the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard Reserve since 2022. Following a final determination based on the results of the administrative investigation, the Coast Guard relieved Beard due to a loss of confidence in his judgment and ability to fulfill his assigned duties.
Beard has been permanently assigned to a position under the Assistant Commandant for Reserve (CG-R).
