Pohang welcomes USCGC Waesche

U.S. Coast Guardsmen assigned to the Waesche were greeted by members of the Korea Coast Guard upon their arrival to Pohang. Waesche is the second U.S. Coast Guard National Security Cutter deployed to the Indo-Pacific in 2024. Waesche is assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
